Marion Barber Video: Watch Barber's Celebration Fail Against Panthers
Marion Barber is not a gymnast.
The whole world found out as much in the Chicago Bears' 34-29 victory over the Carolina Panthers.
After scoring his first touchdown in a Bears uniform, Barber was very excited. Excited enough to attempt a back flip in the end zone.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He didn’t quite stick the landing.
One humiliating face plant later, and Barber was eating turf.
It was a good thing he wasn’t injured on the play because that might have gone down as an all-time sports flub. Instead, he is only subject to constant razzing from teammates…a far better sentence.
It certainly was the highlight of Barber’s day, as he only had five carries for 17 yards and one infamous flop.
Barber had been out since August with a calf injury, and maybe that’s his excuse. Blame it on the calf. That’s his only move.
After the fall, his teammates were there to pick him up…they should have left him on the ground.
With the league crack down on excessive celebration, doing a back flip is as crazy as it gets for a player that reach pay dirt. I applaud Barber’s willingness to give it a shot…but c’moooon, maaaaan!
How many times has Barber practiced doing the back flip in anticipation for this moment? 100? 1,000?
Yet when the bright lights were on him, he couldn’t get the job done. You could tell how excited he was by the little hops he did right before the jump, and even after falling on his helmet, he had his hands raised like he actually pulled off the feat.
Expect an onslaught of flip jokes coming out of Chicago this week.
