Troy Polamalu and 4 Players Giving Their All for Crappy NFL Teams
The Steelers may have started off slow this season, but Troy Polamalu is still his play-making self. He is back to timing snap counts perfectly and flying to the football. In Sunday's loss to the Texans, he recorded nine tackles, eight of them solo.
Let's take a look at some other players who are making plays for their respective crappy teams.
Michael Vick
1 of 4Yes, since the Eagles have just as many wins as the Kansas City Chiefs, they are offically a "crappy" team until further notice.
Nonetheless, whether you like him or not, you cannot question the fact that Michael Vick is giving his all, despite not getting much help from his offensive line. He was pretty spectacular in Sunday's loss to the 49ers. Unfortunately for the Eagles, he can't play linebacker to help with their horrific run defense.
Brandon Mebane
2 of 4Seattle might not win a lot of games this season, but it won't be because of their defensive line.
Seattle keeping Brandon Mebane went a little under the radar, but he has elevated this defensive line to among the best in football. For the first time in a while, Seattle can rely on their defense to get them through a few games.
Dwight Freeney
3 of 4The Colts may be without Manning, but they still have one of the best pass rushers in football in Dwight Freeney. He and Robert Mathis almost beat the Steelers single-handedly, as the combination of he and Robert Mathis gave the Steelers fits.
Larry Fitzgerald
4 of 4Larry Fitzgerald may have gotten an monstrous contract over the offseason, but he probably deserves it. He makes play after play, no matter who is throwing him the ball or who is trying to cover him. He is simply one of the hardest working guys around, and it's infectious throughout the rest of the team.
