Matt Cassel Todd Haley: Embattled QB, Coach Exchange Words in Sideline Debate
Tensions are high and accountability is at an all-time low in Kansas City. Todd Haley and Matt Cassel got into a blowout fight on the sidelines in the first half of play against the Minnesota Vikings.
Both Cassel and Haley seem to be pointing the finger at one another. The Chiefs have yet to win a game and both Haley and Cassel have their jobs on the line.
This fight is hilarious on a number of levels. The quarterback and head coach are blasting each other in the public eye and both make a very compelling case.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Cassel is clearly not the answer at quarterback and is putting forth a miserable passing attack. He's had a big hand in the Chiefs not being able to compete and in no way is he the franchise quarterback the Chiefs thought they were getting when they traded for him.
On the other hand, Todd Haley has completely lost his locker room. Not only have they appeared out of sorts and frustrated, they have appeared indifferent, which is the worst persona a team can take on.
At this time last year, Haley was being praised for bringing in top-notch coordinators to mask his inadequacies as a head coach. He was heralded for being able to put his ego aside and entrusting faith in capable coordinators.
With Charlie Weis at Florida and Jamaal Charles on the IR, the offense completely fell apart. Cassel has regressed into one of the worst starting quarterbacks in the game. Haley's coaching shortcomings are coming to the surface and the wheels have fallen off in Kansas City.
That's what makes this situation so hilarious. The two most inadequate people in the organization are getting in a screaming match during a game they actually have a chance in. The public argument highlights everything that is wrong with the Chiefs right now.
While it seemed nearly impossible, Haley and Cassel have managed to embarrass themselves even further and make a bigger mockery out of a team that had high hopes before the season began.
