Tim Tebow: Denver Broncos' Only Hope Rests on His Shoulders

It finally appears the Denver Broncos are ready to start using the talented athlete Tim Tebow instead of letting him rot on the bench like they have been.

Tebow could be the most talented player to have to sit on the bench in the NFL, and the fact that it took this long for the Broncos to get their former first-round pick involved is a joke.

I know new head coach John Fox didn’t pick Tebow, but to allow him to waste away on the sideline while he fulfills his ego is a joke, and it’s about time that Denver realizes the error of their ways.

The Denver Post is reporting about how the Broncos are going to handle Tim Tebow in today’s game:

Broncos’ coach John Fox talked Monday about how his inconsistent offense needs to find a way to use Tebow’s skills. Fox sounded as if he regretted not calling on Tebow at least once when the Broncos failed on four downs and goal-to-go to score last Sunday in a 17-14 loss to Tennessee. Provided the coaching staff trusts Tebow with the pass option, he can be difficult to stop in short-yardage and goal-line situations. The Broncos have had the “Tebow Package” in their playbook all season long. Offensive coordinator Mike McCoy has moved the “Tebow Package” up on his playcard today against the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers.

The “Tebow Package” sounds like the best idea I have heard out of Denver since they drafted the star, but let’s see if they really follow through with the plan and utilize the touchdown machine correctly.

After months of giving Tebow the cold shoulder, Fox realizes that the Broncos have the short yardage and goalline back they needed all along with Tim Tebow and the fact that he can make plays happen is the reason he was drafted as high as he was.

The exact reasons the “Tebow Package” hasn’t been used yet are a mystery to me, but if it has anything to do with something other than Denver winning football games, that’s the biggest joke in the history of the NFL.

It’s obvious that Tebow is the solution to the Broncos’ problems, and it’s about time the organization finally gave the man his due.
