Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This is not good for Andre Johnson's fantasy owners. Not only is it bad for this week, as he is missing snaps, but he may find himself missing an extended period of time.
If he misses anytime at all, you are going to be without one of your top picks, which could devastate your fantasy team.
Who Is The Backup:
In all likelihood, Jacoby Jones is going to slide in as the No. 2 WR, with Kevin Walter moving to the No. 1 spot if Johnson misses an extended period of time.
At times during Jones' career, he has been a fantasy threat, but he's best known for being a deep threat.
Someone will have to make an impact for the Texans in the passing game, so Jones will certainly be worth picking up in any league.
Devastation Scale:
This injury could have been a lot worse. It was originally believed to be a knee injury, but it has now been confirmed as a hamstring injury.
If we noticed anything from the Arian Foster hamstring injury, Johnson could miss at least a few weeks with this injury.
Timeline for Return:
At this point, Johnson's return is questionable, as they do not know the extent of the hamstring injury.
What They're Saying:
Early reports on Andre Johnson caused Twitter pandemonium as analysts such as John Clayton weighed in on the injury.
John McClain of ESPN 610 also reported that it was a knee injury.
