Was it John Laurinaitis?

Was it Kevin Nash?

Maybe it was Stephanie McMahon, or even the great Vinnie Mac.

All tonight's Hell in a Cell contest between John Cena, CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio did was two things: It crowned a new champion in Alberto Del Rio, and it cast another question in the "Conspiracy Gate" angle the WWE has been working for a few months now.

Actually, the Triple Threat Match was one of the most brutal in Hell in a Cell history, proving that all three champions gave everything they had and in the end, it was Del Rio doing the smart thing (got to give credit where credit is due) and eliminated John Cena from the opportunity of retaining his title.

Now, what happens?

Well, because R-Truth and The Miz were involved in the WWE event throughout the night, they again are major players in the "conspiracy" angle and while we think that John Laurinaitis is heavily involved, this just throws another log in the already smoldering attempt to bring back an nWo type "invasion."

And the plot thickens.

Who raised the cell after the match? Who allowed R-Truth and The Miz backstage at all? Will we see more transgressions Monday night?

Do we know if Triple H is truly not involved in this? Can we assume there will be more to this on Raw and will we see more players coming forward?

In the meantime, Punk, Cena and Del Rio put on a hell of a match, and the controversy around the ending and the way Del Rio claimed gold means the possibility of Punk and Cena feuding again for the right to be the top contender for the WWE Title. It also means that this is setting up nicely for Triple H to need both Cena and Punk in his quest to find out the truth about who is behind this, with possibility of them teaming together at Survivor Series.

I have said this before and I will say it now, that in some cases, the best teammates are the best opponents. Others in wrestling have done this before and if used properly in a storyline, it works wonders.

Austin and Triple H, Barry Windham and Lex Luger, Sting and Ric Flair. All these opponents have joined forces for the greater good and this shall happen again and probably soon.

But for right now, Del Rio has the title, Cena and Punk are on the outside looking in. Triple H doesn't have a clue what is going on. John Laurinaitis is pulling the puppet strings, The Miz and R-Truth are going to be further involved and things are just starting to really heat up.
