Fantasy Football Week 4 Projections: Top Performers at Each Position
It's Saturday, which means that we are closing in on Sunday's games and that the door is closing for you to make the final adjustments on your fantasy football team.
Every week there are some no-name players who step up with huge weeks for their teams. This goes for the real world and the fantasy world.
However, the top performers each week are typically ones that are at the top of their game consistently each and every week.
Who will those top performers be in Week 4?
Here are projections for the top fantasy performers at each position in Week 4.
Quarterback: Tom Brady (New England)
1 of 5Tom Brady is just one of those guys who is a fantasy starter every week of the season.
So far, Brady has made two of those starts fantastic. However, last week Brady struggled against the Buffalo Bills.
He threw four interceptions in the game, which is the same amount he threw all of last year.
It's hard to remember that he is human at times.
Everyone has poor games from time to time. Brady is one of those guys that it doesn't happen to often.
This week he should be able to light up the Oakland Raiders. He may not reach 400 yards like in the first two weeks of the season, but he may get close.
Running Back: Adrian Peterson (Minnesota)
2 of 5The Minnesota Vikings have gotten off to a rocky start to the season.
Sitting at an 0-3 record after leading at halftime in all three games is more than demoralizing.
Despite this, the Vikings have a good chance at rebounding this week with their first win of the season.
The reason—they are set to face off against the 0-3 Kansas City Chiefs.
Minnesota seems set in the idea of making sure Peterson gets more carries than he has so far this season.
Couldn't have picked a better time to make that move.
Wide Receiver: Calvin Johnson (Detroit)
3 of 5Even when Calvin Johnson is covered, he really isn't covered.
Johnson is one of those guys you can rely on each and every week to at least bring in a couple catches.
This week I would expect a little more than that.
The Lions are set to face the Cowboys this weekend. All eyes will be on the 3-0 Lions, who are actually listed as underdogs for the game.
This is a statement game for Detroit. If they are going to win, they need to get the ball in the hands of their best playmaker.
Tight End: Rob Gronkowski (New England)
4 of 5I have Tom Brady projected to be the top passer this weekend. He needs somebody to throw all of those passes to.
The two-tight-end sets have been the production of the majority of the offense this year in New England. This week will be no different.
Hernandez and Gronkowski are each having big seasons for the Patriots.
Gronkowski currently has the seventh most receiving yards among all players in the league. He is leading tight ends.
Expect him to build off that total this Sunday.
Defense: Baltimore
5 of 5The Baltimore Ravens have one of the most aggressive defenses in the league.
It's a perfect matchup this weekend against the Jets.
New York has been unable to get their typical running attack going this season. All of the pressure has been put on Sanchez to make plays.
Sanchez just isn't that guy right now.
Baltimore should rack up a lot of sacks and could produce some turnovers because of their ability to get pressure.
