Fantasy Football Week 4 Rankings: Kevin Kolb and 3 QBs Worth Starting

Richard LangfordOct 1, 2011

If you are looking for an alternative to your normal starting QB, look no further than the next three QBs. These guys have matchups that will find them putting up big numbers, and they are definitely worth a start.

Arizona Cardinals' QB Kevin Kolb

Kolb has thrown for over 250 yards in all three of his starts for the Cardinals. He also has five touchdowns. This week he will be going against a New York Giants that is allowing 255 passing yards per game, ranking them 20th in the NFL.

The Giants have allowed only three passing TDs this season, but Kolb should still be able to find the endzone in this one. The Cardinals' running game is struggling and they will likely be without the services of RB Beanie Wells.

The Cardinals will try to throw their way into the endzone in this one, and Kolb has a target in Larry Fitzgerald that the Giants are going to have a hard time stopping.

Oakland Raiders' QB Jason Campbell

Jason Campbell is quietly putting together a very efficient season. He has a 93 QB rating with three touchdowns and one interception. His lone interception came on a Hail Mary to end the game against the Bills.

The only thing holding back Campbell's numbers has been the fact that the Raiders dominant run game has meant he hasn't had to take to the air that often.

This week he will be facing a Patriots team that is ranked 32nd in passing yards allowed per game. The Patriots will likely be stacking the box to try and take away the Raiders' run game. This is going to leave Campbell free to hit for some big plays in the passing game.

New York Jets' QB Mark Sanchez

This season has seen Mark Sanchez go from a game manager to the focal point of the Jets' offense. That trend is not going to stop this week as the Jets face a Ravens' defense that is ranked sixth against the runs and 17th vs. the pass.

Sanchez has thrown for 866 yards and six touchdowns, and he will be taking to the air often in this one.

Sanchez will be looking for Santonio Holmes and Plaxico Burress often in this as they match up against the Ravens average corners.
