A Review of My Preseason Top 10 Teams Who Don't Stink Anymore
1) Stanford: They don't stink but not real good either.

10) Northwestern: I said every 10th year they were good and this was the 10th year. I can count!
Top 10 Things I Get Criticized for
1) Mitch hates the SEC: No I don't, I just don't think, top to bottom, they beat other conferences like they say they do.
2) Mitch has Utah ranked too high: They beat everyone they played, including Big Ten and Pac-10 teams.
3) Mitch picked _______ game wrong: I picked over 400 games this year against the spread; chances are I'm not going to be right all of the time.
4) Put something up behind you during the video: I promise the video quality will be better next season.
5) Mitch Loves Northern Illinois, Boise, etc.: I love any team that covers a lot for me.
6) I can't get into the forum: You need to register separately for the forum; I'm not a tech person, so don't ask me.
7) Mitch has Ball State ranked too high: The same people you call "experts" now gave the national title to BYU when they beat a 6-6 Michigan team in the Holiday Bowl; go bother them.
8) Mitch hates the Gators: Maybe (I'm from Miami, it's supposed to be that way), but it's more that I think their one loss is the worst of any of the losses the one-loss teams took this year.
9) You never answered my email: I'm getting over 400 emails a week just from people who come to the site and I answer every one; sometimes they take me longer to get to than they used to. If it's a generic question, try the forums, a lot of those guys know the site better than I do.
10) You didn't pick____ game: If I didn't pick it I didn't like it that much or no one asked; a lot of my picks these days come from requests.

Top 10 Changes I Would Like to See In the College Game
1) More student/athletes: If they are going to play for a school they need to go to school.

3) Mandatory conference title games: The first step towards playoffs.
4) Seven wins to be bowl-eligible: Avoids teams with a losing record participating.
5) No more 1-AA opponents: They can play them but they shouldn't count as 1 of the 12 regular season games.
6) Ditch the bowl tie-ins: Like these games weren't meaningless enough.
7) Make the officials accountable: It gets worse and worse, game after game, year after year.
8) Six Home Games and Six Road Games for everyone: Tough to get a fair comparison with some teams playing nine at home.
9) No more independents: No conference, no postseason; plain and simple.
10) Gameplan in HD: It's bad enough we have to pay to watch the good games, at least make the picture clear.
