NFL Power Rankings: 3 Teams That Are Being Underrated
This week is the first real time that we are able to get a solid footing on power rankings and where teams belong.
It's getting easier to tell what teams are contenders and which are pretenders.
ESPN's Week 4 rankings give us a general idea of how the teams look heading into this weekend's action.

However, there are some rankings that can be disputed.
Here are three teams who are currently being underrated in the rankings.
No. 27 Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals are not a good football team.
At the same time, they aren't as bad as everyone thinks.
The team is struggling immensely on offense. Each week they have had major problems putting up points, especially last week when they only scored eight against the San Francisco 49ers.
What people are failing to realize is that this Bengals defense has been very good. Currently they are ranked third in the league in total defense. They are ranked sixth in points allowed.
Until they find some offense they won't win games, but this team isn't nearly as bad as people think.
No. 15 Tennessee Titans
You wouldn't know that the Tennessee Titans are sitting at a 2-1 record, only two points shy of a win in Week 1 that would make them undefeated.
You wouldn't know that they took out the Ravens, 26-13, in Week 2. (The Ravens are ranked No. 5.)
Nobody is talking about or respecting this Tennessee team.
No respect for the team who is currently ranked first in the league in total defense. Their 14.3 points allowed per game is second in the league.
Offensively, Matt Hasselbeck is tearing it up so far this year. He is currently ranked the eighth quarterback in passing yards. Only Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady are completing a higher percentage of their passes.
The only draw back thus far has been stud running back Chris Johnson. He needs to start to kick off the rust and get it in gear.
When he does, this could be a very dangerous football team.
No. 13 Oakland Raiders
Darren McFadden is finally playing like the player everybody thought he was going to be when he was drafted in 2008.
His 393 rushing yards currently leads the NFL. Last week he put up 171 yards against the prestigious New York Jets defense.
This week will be a real test for the Raiders. They take on Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.
The Raiders have given up a lot of points this year and haven't been the best throwing the ball. However, they have run well and have won games.
If they can beat New England this weekend, maybe people will start taking them seriously.
