Utah Football: Utes' Injury Update vs. Washington Huskies
The Utes find themselves in a position to still compete for the Pac-12 South even though they already have a conference loss (USC).
With their upcoming game tomorrow against the Washington Huskies, this is a must win for the Utes, who hope to represent the conference in the inaugural championship game.
With so much on the line for this game, here are the Utes who either won’t be able to play or are questionable against the Huskies.
Jake Murphy: Knee
Murphy is a reserve tight end who has caught three passes for 51 yards and a touchdown. Murphy is listed as probable to play.
Luke Matthews: Shoulder
Utah’s starting wide receiver, Matthews has been cleared to play against the Huskies this Saturday with a mild shoulder bruise.
Isaac Asiata: Ankle
Backup offensive lineman Isaac Asiata is listed as doubtful to play against the Huskies tomorrow. The Utes are thin at offensive line, so the loss of Asiata could play an impact.
Sam Brenner: Elbow
Starting offensive guard for the Utes, Brenner has been out indefinitely since Week 2 of the college football season. Brenner is highly doubtful to play against the Huskies.
Tony Bergstrom: Knee
Like Brenner, Bergstrom is still out indefinitely and no timetable has been issued on his return. It appeared that Bergstrom might have played for the Utes, but he is now listed as doubtful.
