UFC on Versus 6: 4 Reasons You Can't Miss This Fight Card
Tomorrow night, the UFC will be live and free on Versus from Washington D.C.
Headlining the event will be Dominick Cruz, who will defend his UFC Bantamweight title against Demetrius "Mighty Mouse" Johnson.
Also featured on the event will be kickboxing ace Pat Barry taking on 6'11" Stefan Struve, welterweights Anthony Johnson vs. Charlie Brenneman and TUF alumni Matt Winman vs. Mac Danzig.
Check out these reasons why you can't miss this card.
It's Free!
1 of 4Instead of dishing out 50 bucks or trying to find a sports bar that's showing the fight, you can enjoy it from the comforts of your own home for free.
Some people may believe that thanks to the lack of big names, the cards featured on free TV aren't great. But the past UFC on Versus events alone, have left us with many memorable moments.
It Will Feature a Free Title Fight
2 of 4For the first time since UFC 75, a UFC title bout will take place on TV.
Dominick Cruz will defend his bantamweight title for the second time against Demetrious Johnson.
Both men come into the fight with one loss apiece.
Although Cruz is the favorite, he should not take Johnson lightly.
One of the Tallest Heavyweights Will Take on One of the Shortest
3 of 4Stefan Struve is 6'11". That’s a foot taller than his opponent Pat Barry.
Both men suffered memorable losses by knockout in their last fight and are looking to climb up the heavyweight ranks.
It will be interesting to see how Barry handles the height disadvantage as he is known for his kicks.
It Will Be an Exciting Night of Fights
4 of 4Although the card does not feature big names like Anderson Silva, Georges St-Pierre or Jon Jones, there will still be some exciting fights.
Besides the bantamweight title fight and the freak show of Stefan Struve and Pat Berry, also fighting on the card will be Anthony Johnson vs. Charlie Brenneman in a bout that should push the winner up the welterweight rankings.
Also featured on the card will be UFC vets Josh Neer, Yves Edwards and TUF winner Mac Danzig.
