Arsenal vs. Tottenham Hotspur Live Blog: Updates, Scores and More
The North London derby is always one of the most intense matches of the Premiership season, but this Sunday's match at White Hart Lane will prove a major test for historic rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham has found their form and have become a fearsome force in the Premiership bolstered by high-performing summer additions like Scott Parker and Emmanuel Adebayor (who is meeting his former team Arsenal for the first time as a Spur, which will certainly make things interesting), winning their last three league matches and coming back to beat Shamrock Rovers in the Europa League this week on a trio of rapid-fire goals.

The Gunners, despite finding a new energy after an on-and-off season so far, with a great 3-0 league victory over Bolton and a Champions League win this week over Olympiacos, are coming in as the underdogs. They'll have to conquer the madcap derby day atmosphere at White Hart Lane and are coming in with a rash of injured players, among them top defender Thomas Vermalelen, Abou Diaby and possibly summer addition Yossi Benayoun.
But it's not all gloom and doom for Arsene Wenger's side, either: Despite the defensive losses, Bacary Sagna and Alex Song have both been performing well, Robin van Persie recently netted his 100th goal for Arsenal last week and deadline day arrival Mikel Arteta has brought creativity and vision to the midfield. There's also Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, the 18-year-old winger who has caught the attention of fans with goals in recent League Cup and Champions League matches, who may come off the bench in the derby and if so, could be a game-changer.
Whatever happens, expect it to be a mad and thoroughly entertaining match. Check back here on Sunday for lineups, live updates, scores, analysis and more.
