WWE: Will Wade Barrett and Christian Form an Alliance on SmackDown?
The WWE has seen a lot of new alliances and tag teams forming in recent weeks, as much of the roster is looking for allies. This just so happens to be going on at the same time that "conspiracy" is said at least once or twice during an episode of any WWE programming. These two facts are somehow linked to one another, and it seems like many people are aligning with others to have someone watching their back.
Just in the last few weeks, Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne have gone from friends to tag team champions. Vickie Guerrero is emerging with a stable that includes former enemies Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler. R-Truth and The Miz may be fired right now, but the duo will return to WWE and will do so together. Even lower-card superstars like Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks are finding partners to hang around with.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
If there is someone in the WWE who needs a friend right about now, it is Christian. The former two-time World Heavyweight Champion now walks around like a laughing stock for the way he has been booked in recent months.
It has gotten to the low point of Christian winning titles for being hit in the groin and having his long-time friend, Edge, question his accomplishments. Now, Christian touts about wanting "one more match" for a world title. However, when it's granted to him, he looks shocked, scared and unprepared. Then he loses and resets his "one more match" message.
Wade Barrett's once-promising WWE career seems to be slowly going up in smoke. The winner of the original NXT season that included David Otunga, Daniel Bryan, Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel, Barrett has been the leader of a faction more times than he has held championship gold.
Holding his Intercontinental Championship made him look weaker than when he was without any gold at all. His stints as a leader of Nexus and The Corre had him with less of a place on the roster than it did when he formed the groups. Now, Barrett stands alone and is continuing to go backwards.
Even still, both Christian and Barrett were ranked in the Top 40 of this year's PWI 500. Christian locked up position 33, while Barrett was ranked 19th overall. That put Barrett right below Kurt Angle and above the likes of Sting, John Morrison and A.J. Styles. Not too bad for a relative newcomer to the roster.
Since both men are looking for someone to tag along with in the frenzy of Smackdown, why not have them align with each other? Barrett gets an equal to walk around with for the first time since his NXT pro, Chris Jericho, and Christian gets his first true friend since Edge.
Together, they can help keep one another relevant on the brand. They have both feuded with Sheamus in the past and have tagged with one another in recent weeks, including earlier this month in an eight-man tag team match on Raw and a regular tag match on Smackdown.
Christian's match this Sunday at Hell In A Cell can start everything off. Christian wants to defeat The Celtic Warrior, and can use Barrett's help to do so. Together, they can try to gain back world title aspirations for one another.
They could even transcend brands and join forces with Vickie Guerrero's stable or Awesome Truth when they officially return to the WWE. This would likely keep Barrett and Christian relevant into the Survivor Series and have them both in a traditional match at The Garden.
