Fantasy Football Week 4 Waiver Wire: Matt Hasselbeck, Torrey Smith and More

Andrew KulhaJun 7, 2018

The fantasy football waiver wire is getting thin, I don't think anybody would argue with that. That being said, a good fantasy football owner knows how to make something out of nothing.

If you fancy yourself as a good owner, I highly suggest you take a look at this list to confirm your suspicions.

If you feel like you may need some help, you have come to the right place.

Understanding the waiver wire is all about understanding the dynamics of each week. It's about understanding how teams match up against each other, and knowing what a team is going to try to do to win.

Injuries also play a huge role in the waiver wire.

If you have a grasp on all those things, then congratulations. If not, here is a list of the best waiver wire grabs in Week 4.

Matt Hasselbeck, QB Titans

Nobody expected much out of Hasselbeck as a Titan. He has looked good so far, though, and he continues to get better. Five touchdowns and 932 yards is not too shabby, and I think he's only improving.

Dan Bailey, K Cowboys

Does anybody really care about kickers in fantasy football? Well, this guy just went 6-for-6 on Monday Night Football. He's cool, clutch and should score you some valuable points.

Torrey Smith, WR Ravens

Smith totaled five catches for 152 yards and 3 touchdowns last week. He's a bit banged up and you shouldn't expect the same every time he takes the field. That being said, he's a great option.

Scott Chandler, TE Bills

Four touchdowns in three games is pretty impressive for the Bills tight end. Fitzpatrick is going to keep looking for this guy as long as they want to win. Believe me, they want to win.

Fred Davis, TE Redskins

He didn't have a great week against Dallas, so many people are jumping off the ship. That being said, 214 yards and a touchdown so far is good enough for me to keep him around.

Victor Cruz, WR Giants

Three catches for 110 yards and two touchdowns against the Philadelphia Eagles? This guy is going to be a very hot grab. With all the injuries the Giants are facing, he may just be worth it.
