Week 4 Start Em Sit Em: Ray Rice and the 3 Players You Must Start

Chris TrapassoJun 7, 2018

We saw what Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden did against the New York Jets last week. Now it's Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice's turn.

They have different styles when carrying the football, but I think the Jets are in for another rude awakening.

A few other players are must-starts this week....

Ray Rice

Not only will the Ravens give Rice a good amount of carries, they'll utilize him in the passing game out of the backfield, which is where he often is most dangerous.

Baltimore's offense has shifted to feature more passing, but I still think they'll establish the run after seeing the success the Raiders had last week.

With everything he brings to the table, you've got to start Rice this week—it's surprisingly one of the better matchups he'll face this year.

Tim Hightower

Up against the Rams 32nd-ranked run-defense, Hightower will be the focal point of the Redskins offensive attack.

Rex Grossman has shown a good rapport with his wideouts, but against the Cowboys we saw how he can go into stretches of inconsistency that can lead to losses.

Hightower was a late-round pick or free agent addition in most leagues and this is when he has his best game.

As if you weren't already placing Stafford in your starting lineup.

He faces a decent Cowboys secondary, but there is no answer in the NFL for Calvin Johnson.

The star receiver has yet to practice this week, but is expected to play on Sunday.

Stafford doesn't just key on Johnson throughout the game. He has many underrated secondary options outside as well as Jahvid Best, who is becoming a terror in the screen game.
