NFL Picks Week 4: Seattle Seahawks and 3 Teams Who Will Shock Favorites

Kyle VassaloJun 5, 2018

There are several teams being written off this week that have a great chance to steal away a victory. These seemingly lopsided matchups set the stage for huge upsets that nobody will see coming.

Here are three teams that will shock favorites in Week 4.

The Seattle Seahawks have questions all over the field, and Tarvaris Jackson isn't the answer at quarterback. Even so, no team is safe when it heads into Qwest. Just ask Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints, who were stunned in the playoffs last season.

The Falcons' boneheaded offsides penalty may have cost them a victory last week. While most people are looking for them to rebound against the Seahawks, the 12th man is going to be a difference-maker in Seattle.

The Falcons are 0-2 on the road thus far, and they aren't gelling on either side of the ball.

The 49ers haven't been clicking on offense, but their stellar defense has carried them thus far.

However, San Francisco will need to turn it around offensively this week. Frank Gore is banged up, but the Eagles' porous run defense will give the 49ers every opportunity to get it going on the ground.

Michael Vick is banged up, and he's going to be under attack all game long. The Eagles have been fed two losses already. As long as the 49ers can keep the big play in check and Alex Smith throws the ball far away from Nnamdi Asomugha, this game will be as close as it was last season.

The Patriots aren't invincible. While it's hard to believe they could possibly lose two in a row, the Patriots have holes in their defense that continue to be exposed. Tom Brady won't be throwing four picks this week, but the Raiders have the offensive firepower to hang with New England.

The move to cut Brandon Meriweather has given them the worst secondary in the NFL, and the Patriots could easily fall victim to another trap game on the road.
