NFL Picks Week 4: 5 Spreads That Are Sure Things
Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are only a four-point favorite in Oakland this week. There is no way the Patriots are going to Oakland and not winning by at least a touchdown after the loss they suffered last week in Buffalo.
That is just one of the five games this week that are easy wins against the spread.
New Orleans Saints -7 1/2 @ Jacksonville Jaguars
1 of 5The Jacksonville Jaguars are giving up just 196.3 yards per game through the air, but you can expect that number to skyrocket after this game. The Jaguars have not faced a passing attack like the one they will see from Drew Brees and the Saints on Sunday.
You can also bet that Saints defensive coordinator, Gregg Williams, is licking his chops thinking about facing his old team with a rookie quarterback. Williams loves to dial up exotic blitzes. Blaine Gabbert will have trouble getting a pre-snap read, which will lead to at least two interceptions.
The Saints will win this one by double digits.
Atlanta Falcons -5 1/2 @ Seattle Seahawks
2 of 5The Atlanta Falcons have not played up to their potential at this point. That will change this week when they head to Seattle. Matt Ryan will finally hit his stride against one of the worst teams in the NFL. Look for big days from both Roddy White and Julio Jones.
The Falcons will have this game in the bag by halftime.
Detroit Lions +1 @ Dallas Cowboys
3 of 5The Lions are one-point underdogs this week in Dallas. Detroit proved last week they are not the same old Lions when they overcame a 20-point halftime deficit in Minnesota. They are still looking for that signature to win to get people to believe in them, and they will get it this week against the Cowboys in Dallas.
New England Patriots -4 @ Oakland Raiders
4 of 5The Raiders got a huge win last week at home against another AFC East opponent, the New York Jets. There is no way they can pull that off two weeks in a row.
Plus they are facing a Patriots team that is coming to Oakland angry after blowing a lead last week in Buffalo. Tom Brady will take out his anger against the Raiders secondary on Sunday. Look for the Pats to win by 10 points.
New York Giants @ Arizona Cardinals Pick 'Em
5 of 5The Arizona Cardinals lost to the Seattle Seahawks last week. If that is not enough to prove to you that the Giants are a sure bet this week, I do not know what is.
For some reason people still are not believing in the Giants. Vegas obviously does not either because the biggest line on this game is Giants -1. Most have it as a pick 'em.
I just do not see any shot that the Cardinals are able to win this game.
