Week 4 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Beanie Wells and 4 Biggest Gametime Decisions
A number of fantasy football starters are struggling with injury heading into Week 4, with some of their playing statuses up in the air headed into the weekend. Here, I will detail five of these players and whether they're a safe start or if you should sit them.
Arizona Cardinals running back Beanie Wells missed his team's Week 3 game against the Seattle Seahawks with a hamstring injury, and it's possible he could sit this week when they host the New York Giants.
Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt said of Wells' status for Sunday, "It’s a balancing act and that’s what we’re trying to do, make sure we stay on the conservative side of it.”

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
I would recommend sitting Wells this week, especially if you have another more attractive option on your bench. The Giants have a top-10 rushing defense and, if Wells plays on Sunday, will get limited snaps while still nursing the hamstring and will be held down by the New York defense regardless.
Green Bay Packers running back Ryan Grant bruised his kidney in Week 3 and has yet to practice with the team this week.
He has yet to be cleared by the Packers' medical staff to practice or play and, as such, isn't likely to play on Sunday against the Denver Broncos.
The final decision on Grant's playing status won't be made until Friday, but it doesn't seem like he will be cleared to do so. As of now, sit him. I don't see his kidney injury improving in time for Sunday.
New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has been sidelined with a sprained MCL suffered in Week 2 and has not been medically cleared to play or practice thus far this week.
He has said that he wants to play this week, but considering that he has not practiced, the odds are extremely low. It looks like Hernandez's fantasy owners will have to wait another week for the high-scoring tight end to contribute points to their team.
Regardless of whether he was a full participant or was limited in practice yesterday, New York Giants wide receiver Mario Manningham looks to be a go on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.
Manningham missed the team's Week 3 game against the Philadelphia Eagles after suffering concussion in Week 2. For those owners with Manningham on their team, it looks like he will take the field and have a good day against the Cardinals' weak pass defense.
