Liverpool: Luis Suarez Can't Be Only Reds Player to Show Up vs. Everton

Liverpool may have rebounded after their embarrassing 0-4 loss to Tottenham, but winning isn't enough to mask the troubling issues that continue to follow the Anfield club.

The Reds need to be more resounding and need to see productivity from more members of their attack. Luis Suarez has had a solid season thus far, but he isn't an elite player like Wayne Rooney who can completely carry the team.

With Steven Gerrard finally getting back to action, Liverpool is bound to look better from week to week. The timing of his return gives him enough breathing space to get acclimated to the lineup in time for their huge match against Manchester United on October 15th.

Liverpool has the talent to compete in the EPL. With Rooney falling to a hamstring injury, there is a chance they could have the upper hand on the injury front when they take on the Red Devils.

Before they can look forward to that win, they have to take care of Everton. A loss in this match would be a major setback which they wouldn't soon recover from.

Winning can't be enough. They need to be more cohesive on both ends of the pitch. Everton isn't going to fall easily. If the Reds put forth the same effort that they did in their last match, there is a good chance they will walk away with a loss.

Liverpool can't be pleased with the way they've played lately, even though they are coming away with wins once again. This is a great opportunity for them to get more of their team involved and add to the momentum they are slowly collecting.

The season is still young and Gerrard has given the team new life. They'll need to see players like Suarez produce, but can't win in the fashion they want to unless more players start making their presence felt in the attack.
