Fantasy Football Week 13 Rankings: Defense

Wow, Week 13. What can we say? Either you are jockeying for playoff position or you are out of the pack. Either way you need to keep plugging away or keep improving for next year. I am not going to throw a ton of stats out at you any longer.

These are complete gut feelings. You are going to get what I would personally play on my team. No fancy writing, nothing of that sort. Just plain old gut feeling. You are taking a big step at succeeding this week as you are reading the Bruno Boys Defensive Rankings.

1. (Baltimore Ravens) @ Cincinnati Bengals

The Ravens are one of the best defenses so far this year in any fantasy format and they face one of the worst offenses in the NFL. Minus Carson Palmer and adding Chad Ocho-Pinko doesn't help the Bengals cause either way. Play the Ravens with confidence.

2. (Tennessee Titans) @ Detroit Lions

The Titans are coming off of their first loss of the season and will be facing the Lions on a shortened-week. Do you think the Titans will play a bit pissed-off? Good luck to my Lions as I know they will be destroyed.

3. (Miami Dolphins) @ St. Louis Rams

The Dolphins have a luxury on defense this week as their rushing attack should keep the time clock moving against the Rams. Considering that the Rams offense is less than efficient, that is great news for Miami Dolphins defense owners.

4. (New York Giants) @ Washington Redskins

The Giants are one of the best defenses in the game and are rolling on a high note. They face a Redskins offense that includes a banged up backfield and a not-so-super passing game. The Redskins will be schooled and so will your opponent if you play the Giants.

5. (Dallas Cowboys) vs. Seattle Seahawks

Hasselbeck is back, their offense is not. Play the Cowboys with complete confidence as Seattle should have trouble putting points on the scoreboard in this game.

6. (Buffalo Bills) vs. San Francisco 49ers

The solid defense of the Buffalo Bills takes on Frank Gore and...well, really Frank Gore is it. Mike Martz is not as good of an offensive coordinator as everyone believes him to be. The 49ers' fans are finding that out. The Bills should hand San Francisco a butt-whooping this week.

7. (Indianapolis Colts) @ Cleveland Browns

The Colts, especially if they have Sanders back, should dominate the Browns who have had nothing going for them all year. Even a switch to Brady Quinn led to nothing but disappointment as the quarterback has suffered a broken index finger. Remember, Derek Anderson, who will get the start this week, was benched to make room for Quinn for a reason.
