College Football Predictions Week 5: Robert Griffin and 2 Stars That'll Shine
Robert Griffin's outstanding season is about to get even more impressive. He is going to carve up a tough Kansas State defense this week.
He isn't the only star headed for a big day. Check out the breakdown of Griffin's and two other star QBs' matchups below.
Baylor QB Robert Griffin III
RG3 is completing an amazing 85.4 percent of his passes. He has 962 yards with 13 touchdowns and zero interceptions.
He will be facing a Kansas State defense that has been outstanding, but largely untested. They faced their first legitimate offense last week against Miami.
Miami's QB Jacorry Harris has a similar skill set to Griffin, but he is not as talented as Griffin. Harris threw for 272 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 14.
Griffin will learn from what worked for Harris and exploit Kansas State's defense for a big day.
Stanford QB Andrew Luck
Andrew Luck is quietly putting up a tremendous season. He has 786 yards, eight touchdowns and just one interception.
Luck has a lot of new players around him, and they are starting to find their stride. They will find it in a big way in this game.
UCLA does not feature the best passing defense. They have allowed 916 passing yards on the season and six touchdowns. They also haven't gone against the greatest passing offenses. The best passing offense they have faced is Houston, and Case Keenum went 30-for-40 with 210 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions.
Luck will beat those numbers.
Wisconsin QB Russell Wilson
Wilson has led Wisconsin to having one of the most balanced offenses in the nation. He is having a tremendous season as he has thrown for 1,136 yards. He is completing an amazing 75.8 percent of his passes and has 11 touchdowns to just one interception.
He will also be going up against a weak Nebraska defense.
Nebraska has allowed 866 passing yards on the season and give up eight passing touchdowns. They are going to be shredded by Wilson in this one.
