Guinness Premiership Predictions Round Eight
Here are my picks for this weekโs games in the Guinness Premiershipโanother tricky week with a number of understrength teams.
A difficult week this week, and itโs feasible that I could get every single game wrong, but hopefully thatโs an indication of the competitiveness of the Guinness Premiership rather than any reflection on me.
After Saleโs narrow victory over Wasps last week and their defeat to Worcester the week before, Iโve predicted an away win by the impressive Tigersโwith some internationals returning it can further unsettle a squad, and although itโs a fairly evenly matched fixture, I fancy Leicester to take the points.

In Newcastle, I can see Wasps ending their droughtโwhat better team for Shaun Edwardsโ men to face than the Falcons given their recent thrashing by Worcester?
The Cherry and Whites will take confidence from their comprehensive victory over rivals Bristol last week and should beat Northampton at Kingsholm.
Iโve gone for a London Irish away win at Bristol, another London success with Harlequins beating Bath and still flying high near the top of the table, whilst in the final game, I think the Warriors will continue their fine run and claim a narrow away victory over Saracens at Vicarage Road.
Game 43: Sale Sharks v Leicester Tigers: Leicester Tigers by 7
Game 44: Newcastle Falcons v London Wasps: London Wasps by 5
Game 45: Gloucester Rugby v Northampton Saints: Gloucester Rugby by 11
Game 46: Bristol Rugby v London Irish: London Irish by 9

Game 48: Saracens v Worcester Warriors: Worcester Warriors by 5
