Week 4 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Chad Henne and 3 QBs to Grab in Tight Spot

Gabe ZaldivarSep 28, 2011

It might be hard to do, but at some point, you should give these guys a chance. I understand that nausea and a little wooziness may follow, but it's time that Chad Henne and two other quarterbacks are given a shot.

We have all been put through the ringer at some point. Your draft day delight at quarterback may be throwing like Matt Leinart at the moment, or he may have succumbed to that injury bug that is going around.

Either way, it is not the end of the world. There is still a great deal of talent on the open market. So before you send that homer in your league a tasty trade offer, consider the following quarterbacks who have shown a great deal of competency in the early season.

And you thought you would never be given anything for free.

1. Chad Henne: Coming into the 2011 season, Chad Henne couldn't have been a more disliked quarterback. Even his own Dolphins fans wanted him out of Miami.

Perhaps he just needed a fire lit under him. Henne has followed up a marvelous game against the Patriots on opening night with two above-average games. This is not the same Henne that will kill your team. If you are in a jam, Henne is your man. Owned in 42 percent of Y! Leagues

2. Matt Hasselbeck: The Tennessee Titans have slowly made progress as a team, despite the disappearing act by running back Chris Johnson.

Hasselbeck has carried an offense that just had a huge blow in the loss of Kenny Britt. The fantasy outputs of 20, 18 and 22 have me thinking that Hasselbeck has found his comfort zone in Tennessee. Owned in 35 percent of Y! Leagues

3. Jason Campbell: The Raiders quarterback took a step back last week against a stout secondary in the New York Jets. Expect a return to form in Week 4.

Campbell gets the New England Patriots, a team that allows as many touchdowns as they capture themselves. Owned in 18 percent of Y! Leagues
