Fantasy Football Week 4 Rankings: Tom Brady and 5 Can't-Miss Starters

John RozumSep 28, 2011

Every week, fantasy football has those starters that no matter how unfavorable the matchup is, you know that that specific player is going to rack up points.

It doesn't matter which team they play for, or who they're playing against, these players are starting 100 percent and will dominate regardless.

All that said, here are five can't miss starters for Week 4.

Tom Brady

Even though Tom Brady threw four picks last week, he still racked up a solid number of points.

It most definitely was not close to his best, and you can bet that he won't throw four picks again.

This week Brady is facing the Oakland Raiders, who although rolling with confidence, have the No. 28 ranked pass defense and No. 26 ranked rush defense.

For as explosive as the Pats are, there's no way Brady doesn't accumulate around 350 passing yards and three more TDs with no picks.

Even if the Raiders slow the game down, New England is good enough to score quickly and keep the game tempo going at a high rate.

After three weeks of playing tough opponents, the Minnesota Vikings finally get a break against the busted Kansas City Chiefs.

Peterson has yet to really go off in a game, because although he compiled 120 yards versus Tampa Bay, that's not the Adrian Peterson we know.

The Chiefs have the No. 21 ranked pass and No. 28 ranked rush defense, so it's reasonable to suspect they'll allow the Vikings to move the ball as they please.

In turn, Peterson will account for 200 total yards and score three TDs en route to a Vikings win.

Quickly coming on the scene in 2011, Raiders RB Darren McFadden is the NFL's current leading rusher with 393 yards in three games.

No surprise that Oakland also ranks No. 1 in rushing offense, and this week Run DMC and company play host to the New England Patriots who have the No. 32 ranked pass defense and the No. 10 ranked rush defense.

And sure, New England is a Top Ten rush D, but that's only because no one bothers to run the ball against them.

There's no reason to when they allow 377 pass yards per game.

As for Oakland, McFadden will compile over 150 rush yards and add another 50 receiving to go with two TDs.

Through three weeks of play, Packers' QB Aaron Rodgers has a rating of 120.9, has thrown for over 900 yards, and has eight TDs to only one pick.

In Week 4 Green Bay hosts the 1-2 Denver Broncos, who have an improved defense, but have yet to face an offense as prolific as the Packers.

Early on, the Broncos may have some success as the Packers rushing offense just got back on track last week in Chicago.

However, Denver won't be able to keep as the game progresses and Rodgers will throw for over 325 yards and two TDs.

And when the Broncos try to drop everyone in coverage to blanket the NFL's best receiving core, don't be surprised if Rodgers adds a rushing TD as well.

This week Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints travel to Jacksonville, FL. and play a desperate Jaguars team.

The Jags' do have a solid defense as they rank No. 7 and No. 5 in pass and rush yards allowed, respectively.

But, neither of their first three offensive opponents are near the level of Drew Brees and New Orleans.

The Saints have rolled over every defense they've gone against, and they have played Green Bay, Chicago, and Houston.

All three have solid defenses, but Brees and his offense is so good, they'll just wipe the defense off the field.

Jacksonville will only bend at first, but they'll break by halftime.
