NFL Predictions Week 4: Picks Against the Spread for Each Game
There is some phenomenal action to be had in Week 4 of the NFL season for betting men and women.
While the lines are getting tighter and tougher to predict, there still is great value to be found and I’ve spotted quite a few juicy spreads.
Let’s take a look at each game and make a pick against the spread. Good luck this Sunday!

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Lions (PK) over Cowboys
The Lions are legitimate and the Cowboys are banged up and playing without their No. 1 receiver.
Kevin Ogletree is no replacement for Miles Austin and the ‘Boys looked lost on Monday night. You aren’t beating the Lions without scoring some TDs.
Saints (-7) over Jaguars
Jacksonville has yet to prove they can handle beating a good team.
The Saints have covered against the Bears and Houston, and were a goal line stand away from covering against Green Bay.
Lay the points for the road favorite here.
Eagles (-9) over San Francisco
After being embarrassed by the New York Giants last week, Vick and the Eagles will soar over the 49ers.
San Francisco has trouble scoring and has been playing in slugfests that the Eagles will try to stay away from.
Redskins (PK) over Rams
The ‘Skins have been playing great football this season and the Rams have not been.
Steven Jackson returns this week but he will have to shake the rust off and the Redskins defense will contain him.
Browns (-1) over Titans
When in doubt, take the home team.
Both of these squads scare me and I personally would not touch this game with my money, but the Browns have the advantage of being in Cleveland.
Bills (-3) at Bengals
The Bills' luck is eventually going to run out. However, they don’t seem to get hungover after huge, come-from-behind victories, so you can’t take the Bengals here.
The Bengals have been better than expected but the Bills have been much better than we thought they would be.
Vikings (-1.5) over Chiefs
The Vikings should be 2-1 or possibly 3-0 if they knew how to run the ball with a lead.
I think this is the week they learn to do that and go up big on the Chiefs and protect the lead.
Bears (-6.5) over Panthers
Cam Newton scares me but his Panthers aren’t proven to cover yet on the road.
They went into Arizona to open the season and lost by a touchdown. I think the Bears’ defense doesn’t give him any time to throw and pressures him into mistakes all day.
Texans (-4) over Steelers
Houston is the team that conventional wisdom would say to go with here.
The Steelers struggled against Indianapolis while the Texans beat up on them. The game is in Reliant Stadium so lay the points with the home team.
Giants (-1) over Cardinals
I’d take this moneyline for the Giants.
The Cardinals lost to arguably the worst team in the league and they have issues they need to deal with.
They won’t sort them out against New York.
Dolphins (+7) over Chargers
I got "Henned" twice this season but this team is eventually going to win one and there is no better place than the road.
They were 1-7 at home last year and seem to play better away from Miami. After seeing how bad the Chargers played against the Chiefs, take the points with the ‘Fins.
Broncos (+13) over Packers
The Broncs’ are bad, but they aren’t 13-point-dog-in-Week 3 bad. The Chiefs got the same disrespect last week and lost by a mere field goal.
Packers have yet to prove they can cover a big spread like this and blew it against the Panthers. Take the points in Lambeau.
Patriots (-4.5) over Raiders
Are you going to be the fool that bets against Bill Belichick after an upset loss?
I’m certainly not and I expect him to have his team ready to go on Sunday, winning by at least double digits.
Jets (+3.5) over Ravens
The Jets needed a kick in the mouth and the Raiders gave ‘em that last week.
They are going to wake up and beat the Ravens this week in a close game that will come down to the wire.
Colts (+10) over Buccaneers
Indy hung with Pittsburgh all night on Sunday and they aren’t as bad as people think they are.
The Bucs will win this game, but 10 points is too much to give. Take the Colts and cash your tickets.
