NFL Predictions Week 4: Calvin Johnson and the 4 WRs Guaranteed to Dominate

Chris TrapassoSep 28, 2011

Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson is bound to dominate every week in fantasy, but in Week 4 who are the other wideouts primed for big games?

No one has been as consistent as Johnson, who's caught two touchdown passes in each of the team's first three games, and I'm not sure any receiver will be for the rest of the season.

However, these pass catchers should flourish this weekend.

Calvin Johnson

It's pretty simple.

No one can cover Johnson, and as long as Matt Stafford is healthy, I'm picking Johnson to be near the top of receiver scoring every week.

He can stretch the field, go over the middle, has yards-after-the-catch ability and is a tremendous threat in the red zone.

Dallas' secondary isn't atrocious, but they'll have no answer for Megatron.

Roddy White

White is coming off his most productive game of the season, (nine catches for 140 yards against Tampa Bay), and those kind of numbers will continue this week against the Seahawks.

Seattle has allowed only 218 yards-per-game through the air, but with the added threat of Julio Jones, White will have a big afternoon inside Qwest Field.

Greg Jennings

After catching nine passes in his first two games combined, Jennings exploded for nine catches and 116 yards against a stingy Bears secondary in Week 3.

He will face a Broncos defensive backfield that hasn't been tested thus far, and if their pass rushing specialists, like Elvis Dumervil (who should play) and Von Miller (two sacks), can't consistently get to Aaron Rodgers, Jennings will be targeted early and often.

Hakeem Nicks

Nicks had only three catches for a pedestrian 25 yards against the Eagles, but Victor Cruz had a breakout game in the Giants victory over the Eagles.

The Cardinals have been victimized on defense, especially when teams have stretched the field against them.

With more attention headed Cruz's way, Nicks will see more single coverage.

Advantage Nicks.
