NFL Power Rankings: Philadelphia Eagles and 3 Cellar Dwellers Ready to Soar
NFL fans and analysts are so quick to judge teams because, unlike other sports, the season is quite short, so you want to see a team that you thought was going to be good play well in the early going to justify the hype.
But when that doesn't happen, it is easy to sit back and write those teams off as overrated and overhyped.
Now, as we enter Week 4 of the NFL season, we are going to see what kind of mettle these disappointing teams have.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Here are three teams that have looked mediocre so far this season, but will turn things around in a hurry and move back up the power rankings chart.
Philadelphia Eagles
So the Eagles aren’t exactly a “Dream Team.” That doesn’t mean they are the worst team in the NFC East, either. Things are not going to go as smoothly for this team as most analysts predicted before the season, but they will be OK as the season moves along.
They have a winnable game this week against the 49ers, even if Michael Vick doesn't play. They can move their record back to .500 with a victory in that game. Then they have to travel to Buffalo and Washington before their bye in Week 7.
The Eagles are going to be fine, even if they don’t win as many games as expected.
Atlanta Falcons
I never bought into the hype of the Falcons in the preseason because their secondary is not very good. That said, they should not be the worst team in the NFC South.
Matt Ryan has not taken off this season like everyone expected after the team added Julio Jones, and the rest of the offense is not doing much to help him out.
The strength of this team is on the defensive line, but John Abraham and Ray Edwards have battled injuries early on in the season, and the pass rush has suffered as a result.
They have an easy game this week before going to Green Bay and Carolina. If this team wants to be thought of with the elite teams in the NFL, this is their chance to prove it.
Cincinnati Bengals
As much fun as we have had picking on Mike Brown for his stubbornness with the Carson Palmer situation, the Bengals really aren’t that bad.
The rookie tandem of Andy Dalton and A.J. Green has carried the offense, though there are still some kinks to be worked out. They don’t play pretty, but they keep games close.
Considering the other teams in the AFC North, it is going to be difficult for the Bengals to get into the playoff chase this season. But that does not mean they aren’t capable of winning eight games.
There is a difficult game against Buffalo this Sunday, but four games against Jacksonville, Indianapolis, Seattle and Tennessee could have this team sitting at 4-4 or 5-3 at the halfway point of the season.
