Hope Solo Dancing with the Stars: Soccer Star Must Relax After Rough Round 2
Well that wasn’t very pretty.
Hope Solo really struggled in the second round of Dancing With the Stars.
Her and dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy were never in sync during their dance and judge Bruno Tonioli was brutally honest in his assessment: “You got lost so many times.”
Ouch.
She ended up finishing in eighth out of 11 teams, scoring a 19 out of a possible 30. With her ever increasing fan base, she was spared to live on for another week.
Twitter, however, wasn't as kind.
Solo needs to let this be the round that wakes her up. She has been busy practicing and playing soccer with her teammates in her off time and even filmed a FIFA ’12 commercial against Steve Nash.
The heavy lifting needs to begin now or she will be voted off very soon. Spend the extra time in the dance studio and listen to your eccentric partner. This gig is no joke. You could easily spend 40 hours a week perfecting the routine.
Bodog listed her as the co-favorite to win the competition because of her athletic career, but she has looked so stiff on the dance floor that you would never guess she was a nimble goalkeeper.
Solo must remember that she is the only athlete left in the competition and losing to the likes of Nancy Grace and Ricki Lake is unacceptable.
She needs to just calm down out there. Her extremely stiff and somewhat awkward moves on the dance floor makes her audience feel almost as awkward.
My advice to Hope for round three: RELAX!!!
