Fantasy Football Week 4 Rankings: Nick Folk and 3 Ks to Keep You Ahead

Never undersell the impact of a kicker. As a matter of fact, in next year's draft, take a kicker in the first round.

Okay, that's terrible advice. Still, don't underestimate how big of an impact a kicker can have on matchups.

If you find the right kicker, you can get a double-digit performance—that can easily be the difference between a win and a loss. Here are three kicks you should keep an eye on.

Nick Folk

The Jets have an offense capable of moving the ball against the Baltimore Ravens, but they will not score many touchdowns.

Conversely, Folk has a strong leg. I like a field goal fest, similar to what we saw between the Redskins and Cowboys on Monday night.

Folk will likely get a few field goal opportunities. I like at least three field goals from Folk in this one, and wouldn't surprise me in the least if at least one of those came from beyond40 yards.

Alex Henery

The kicker opposing the San Francisco 49ers is always a pretty good bet—the Niners allow a lot of yards, but are pretty solid in the red zone.

Now they are playing the Philadelphia Eagles, an offense that can move the ball up and down the field.

Mike Nugent made two kicks against the 49ers in Week 3. That's not a lot, but it's not a bad showing. For Week 4, I like Henery to kick at least three. He's also likely to have at least two or three PATs.

Go with Henery and a solid performance is quite likely.

David Akers

In his triumphant return to Philadelphia, Akers will make the Eagles regret cutting him.

Okay, we don't need to be that dramatic here. The 49ers actually move the ball relatively well; what they don't do is convert many of those into touchdowns.

Akers has had a relatively strong output for the 49ers this year. A three-field goal performance is quite likely from San Francisco's kicker.

If he kicks three field goals and the 49ers score even one touchdown, a very solid day awaits you with Akers as your kicker.
