Chad Henne More Talented Than Mark Sanchez: Is Jason Taylor Nuts?

Here's one you probably haven't heard:

"I saw a kid in New York, Mark Sanchez, who is young. I don't think he's as talented as Chad Henne."

That came from Jason Taylor, who used to be a Miami Dolphin, who used to be a New York Jet and is now a Miami Dolphin.

Got that?

In case you were wondering, this is the same Jason Taylor who dances a pretty mean fox trot and can tango 'til the cows come home, but now he's come up with that gem.

This can't sit really well with fans of the J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets.

The Jason Taylor who used to be a Jet, became a Jet because he didn't like Bill Parcells, and when the Jets didn't want him anymore, he became a Dolphin again because Parcells isn't a Dolphin boss anymore.

Got that?

So naturally, the next and most logical question for the Dolphin who used to be a Jet but is now a Dolphin is this:

If Chad Henne is so darn talented, moreso than Sanchez, then why the heck are your Dolphins 0-3?

We wondering out loud if perhaps Tony Sparano, the Miami coach, has anything to do with that?

This is the same Tony Sparano that Dolphin owner Stephen Ross tried desperately to replace with Jim Harbaugh, but couldn't, so kept Sparano in the house, and when Sparano opened 0-3 this year well, Sparano can't be feeling that great can he?

Got that?

Now, if you want to compare Henne and Sanchez, their stats are pretty close.

Henne: 61-of-108, 814 yards, 56.6% completion, 4 TDs, 3 INTs.

Sanchez: 70-of-111, 886 yards, 63.1% completion, 6 TDs, 4 INTs.

Maybe Taylor is on to something.

The Jets chose Sanchez fifth overall in the 2009 draft, while the Dolphins landed Henne in the second round back in 2008.

So if Henne is more talented, then either he's an over-achiever or Sanchez is an under-achiever.

It would certainly help if Taylor would expound on why he believes what he believes.

It also wouldn't be the least bit surprising if Taylor simply danced his way around that one.
