Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Minnesota Vikings
The fact that they've led at halftime in each of their three loses this year is well documented, but bad teams make poor adjustments in the second half and don't close out in the fourth quarter.
Adrian Peterson was hardly utilized last week against the upstart Lions, and that won't continue when the Vikings travel to Kansas City in Week 4.
The Chiefs defense was supposed to take the next step into that elite status this season, but have been very disappointing against the run and pass.
Kansas City has surrendered 123 yards per game on the ground and will be exploited once again when they face Peterson.
Time to get that "W," Vikings.
St. Louis Rams
OK, so talks of Sam Bradford emerging as a top-flight quarterback were a bit premature. He isn't getting much help from his skill-position guys and defense either.
The Ravens embarrassed the Rams in all phases of the game last week, but I think St. Louis is ready to right the ship against the Redskins at home in Week 4.
If they can keep Bradford upright, they have a good chance to pull off the "upset."
I wasn't overly impressed with Washington on Monday night, as Rex Grossman was back to the guy I remember watching in a Chicago Bears uniform.
If Steven Jackson plays, that'll help the Rams too, right?
I think so.
(I don't see the Dolphins winning in San Diego, although I think that game will be competitive and the Buccaneers are too talented to lose to the Colts at home.)
