Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Scott Chandler
Many people are probably thinking, "Who?". Scott Chandler is a tight end who is crushing the competition in Buffalo. While unheralded players like Fred Jackson, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Stevie Johnson are starting to get their due, Chandler is still a silent warrior in Buffalo.
He already has four touchdowns and has become Fitzpatrick's favorite red zone target. Think of Chandler as this year's Marcedes Lewis. He's not going to get you Jason Witten yards, but he's a red zone nightmare who is good for a touchdown on almost a weekly basis.
Eric Decker
Denver is struggling, but Eric Decker continues to thrive. With 214 yards and two touchdowns, many people have already swooped on Decker this season. If he's available in your league, pick him up immediately.
Teams are keying in on Brandon Lloyd and Decker still isn't getting the recognition he deserves from defenses. You shouldn't expect his production to slow yet and he's validated himself as a legitimate flex option.
Torrey Smith
Torrey Smith's first three catches in the NFL were touchdowns. How's that for a stat? You don't start the rookie immediately, but he's worth picking up off the waivers. If he can produce consistently a couple weeks in a row, there is a chance you'll strike gold with this pickup.
Smith is a burner and if Joe Flacco and the Ravens start to go to him more frequently, you can expect big things from Smith this season.
