Week 4 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Early Round Busts You Need to Send Packing
Can you believe how many busts there has been this season that were early round picks?
Heck, even the preseason guy who was considered worthy of the top overall pick in many leagues has barely put up any stats all season and has a replacement who looks great.
Let’s take a look at these early round busts who might be off your roster this week or sometime soon.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Arian Foster
Seriously, what is going on with his hamstring?
He has 10 rushes for 33 yards and two catches for seven yards on the entire season. That was his production in a single drive during some games last season.
Ben Tate has looked like a stud out there in his place and would have been a better No. 1 overall pick than this bust.
I’ve been actively trying to trade Foster in my leagues, but no one wants him. Hopefully he does something when he returns (this week?) and starts making up for lost time.
If he doesn’t…he seriously might be considered waiver wire fodder.
Chris Johnson
OK, this guy doesn’t even have injury as an excuse. He was lazy in the offseason and greedy as well, and fantasy owners are being punished.
By holding out the entire training camp under a new head coach, Johnson is struggling to find his place in this Titans’ offense and has yet to score a touchdown or break a huge play that he is known for.
He needs to get his head in the game and start contributing for his sake, the Titans’ sake and fantasy football’s sake.
Frank Gore
I’m not surprised that Gore has been subpar this season. This dude is always injured and sprained an ankle in Week 3.
However, many people still deemed him worthy of an early round draft pick, and they are let down again by his injuries and ineffectiveness.
Steven Jackson
He looked like a steal if you got him in the second or third round in fantasy drafts in his first running play of the year. He took off for a 47-yard TD run against the Eagles and got everyone’s hopes up.
Then he left the game with a quadriceps injury and has yet to contribute anything significant.
Another year, more Steven Jackson struggles.
DeAngelo Williams
Why on earth did the Panthers pay this guy? Jonathan Stewart is the better RB in the Panthers backfield, and Cam Newton is another guy taking snaps away in the ground game.
He was supposed to produce like a stud, but he has been a dud since signing his brand new, mega-million deal.
