Knowshon Moreno Injury: Updates on Broncos RB's Week 4 and Fantasy Value

Knowshon Moreno was listed as active for Week 3, but he didn't have a single carry during the game.

This obviously angered his fantasy football owners that started him, but they should've known better than to start a questionable player with a hamstring injury because even if he did play he wasn't going to be very productive. 

Denver would love for Moreno to be full healthy, but his status is still uncertain. Stay here for further updates throughout the week on the Broncos' star running back. 

Tuesday, Sept. 27, 12:05 p.m. 

Moreno didn't play this past Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, even though he was listed as active. He told the Denver Post exactly why he didn't set foot on the field. 

"

'In an emergency, I would have been good to go,' Moreno said. 'I should be good this week. I still have to test it, though.'

"

The Broncos need their top running back out on the field, and they will monitor his status all week long to find out whether or not he can give it go on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.

Since the Packers have the No. 1 run defense in the league, expect the passing game to be the primary focus this week. If Moreno is back, he'll more than likely play in a limited role, and he will definitely be used in passing situations because of his ability to create plays in space. 

It's only Tuesday right now, so stay tuned for more updates on Moreno's hamstring. It will be a good sign if he hits the practice field Wednesday and Thursday.
