NFL Power Rankings: Which Teams Already Have No Shot at Playoffs?

Chris TrapassoJun 5, 2018

Just because you start out 0-3, doesn't mean you can't make playoffs.

We see it with teams like the San Diego Chargers every year.

It can be done, but it certainly isn't an easy feat to accomplish.

However, heading into Week 4, a few teams have shown very little to make anyone believe they have a chance to make the postseason.

Kansas City Chiefs

They are coming off easily their best effort of the 2011 season against the Chargers last week, but a loss is still a loss.

Matt Cassel improved from two disappointing games to start the year, but ultimately turned the ball over in the final minutes which led to defeat.

How can you expect the Chiefs to rebound and make a playoff run without Jamaal Charles, Tony Moeaki and Eric Berry?

It just isn't going to happen.

The Vikings have surrendered three halftime leads this year, two of which have come at home.

They arguably have the most talent of any 0-3 team, but must get Adrian Peterson more involved and Donovan McNabb needs to make more plays through the air.

It will just be hard to make a late run at the playoffs because of their division. The Packers and Lions look to be for real and the Bears are no pushover.

Tony Sparano's Dolphins are 0-3 after losses to the Patriots, Texans and Browns.

So, they haven't started with the easiest schedule.

However, their defense is really letting them down and their division has three formidable clubs in the Jets, Patriots and Bills.

They've yet to get a rushing touchdown from any of their running backs and it's impossible to determine which Chad Henne you are going to see each week.

Too tough of a schedule.

Can they ever win at home?
