NFL Picks Week 4: 3 Biggest Locks of the Week

The Week 4 slate features a lot of one-sided matchups, but these three stick out as obvious choices for your survivor pool:

New Orleans Saints @ Jacksonville Jaguars

The Saints have shaken off the bitter taste of defeat in Week 1 and are back in control after impressive wins against good teams in the Chicago Bears and Houston Texans.

The offense doesn’t have any stars aside from Drew Brees, but they have the best depth in the NFL at wide receiver and running back. The defense is still a work in progress, but it’s beginning to show signs of improvement.

The Jags are in complete rebuilding mode and are starting rookie QB Blaine Gabbert for the second time in his career.

The growing pains are going to be flaring up as the young guy feels the pressure of getting into a shootout against Brees.

Miami Dolphins  @ San Diego Chargers

This is a bad matchup.

QB Phillip Rivers and company love to throw the ball, and the Dolphins have one of the worst pass defenses in the league.

It looks as if the players are already beginning to give up on head coach Tony Soprano as the countdown to his firing begins.

The Chargers aren’t playing great football, but they have way too much talent to lose to a Dolphins team that’s a front-runner in the “suck for Luck” sweepstakes.

Indianapolis Colts @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Colts defense couldn’t have played much better against the Steelers and they still lost.

That’s how bad the QB situation is in Indy.

There really is no hope, especially if Curtis Painter starts.

Meanwhile, the Bucs are coming off a very impressive win over their division rival Atlanta Flacons and have the look of a playoff contender.

The youngest team in the league is maturing before our eyes and should be fired up for their first Monday night appearance at home in quite some time.

This one should be a blowout.
