Week 4 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: 3 Defenses Ready for Big Weeks
If you are like me, than you de-prioritize defense on draft day and surf the waiver wire as your season progresses, searching for defenses with good matchups. The following three defenses are all in a position to succeed.
Minnesota Vikings
Minnesota's pass defense is struggling vs. the pass. They are ranked 29th in passing yards allowed per game. However, they are fourth in rushing yards allowed.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
That is bad news for the Kansas City Chiefs, who can't find any rhythm in the passing game. The Chiefs have been mistake-prone and ineffective in the passing game.
If Minnesota can shut down their rush game, those mistakes in the pass game will only be amplified.
New Orleans Saints
The Saints defense has spent the majority of this season getting torched. Most of that damage has been accrued via the pass. The Saints have the NFL's 10th-ranked rush defense. That will serve them well in this matchup with the Jaguars.
They will be facing rookie Blaine Gabbert in this one, who will be making just his second start. If the Saints can force the Jags into passing situations, they should have ample opportunities for interceptions and sacks.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs D is coming off of a solid showing against the Falcons. And they roll into this week facing the Indianapolis Colts.
I don't know if you have heard this or not, but Peyton Manning is not playing for the Colts. That has reduced their offense to a mistake-prone mess.
The Colts will either have Kerry Collins or Curtis Painter under center for Sunday's game, and while the Colts offense looked better on Sunday, they are likely to take a step back in this road game against the Bucs.
