Kenny Britt Injury: Will Latest Setback Derail Star Receiver's Career?
Kenny Britt hasn't exactly had the smoothest NFL career since being drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft.
When on the field, Britt has been a threat, racking up 775 yards receiving and nine touchdowns last season before getting off to a fantastic start in 2011.
But his career has been marred by legal troubles and, now, injuries. On Sunday against the Denver Broncos, the Titans suffered a big hit when Britt left in the second quarter with a torn ACL and MCL.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
After missing four games last season, Britt is now done for this season. The question is, will he make a full recovery and return next season in good form?
Torn ACL's generally take nine months or more to fully heal after surgery, which puts his ETA around June. In the meantime, the Titans will have to make do with what they have, which likely will include more opportunities for receiver Nate Washington.
The Titans are also reportedly looking at former St. Louis receiver Donnie Avery and former San Diego Charger Buster Davis, via Pro Football Weekly.
Washington has proven he can produce when given the ball, but no one is likely going to replace Britt, who had 17 catches for 289 yards and three touchdowns before going down on Sunday.
There is no telling how Britt will respond to surgery and if he can rebound next season, but it's clear he's much more of an injury risk now and has the chance of re-aggravating his injury down the line even if he comes back 100 percent.A
These kinds of injuries are pretty serious, and few receivers have been able to come back in full strength the next season following surgery. Britt is talented enough to rebound and still be a force in the NFL, but it's always worrisome when a player has to get carted off the field as he did Sunday.
His career is still safe, but whether he can return to the level he was at before the injury is different question.
