Maclin played on Sunday (hamstring), catching seven balls for 74 yards. But his fumble near the 49ers' 30-yard line at the two-minute mark preventing the Eagles from kicking the potential game-winning field in their 24-23 loss.

Maclin took some shots in this one, but his injury wasn't to blame for his fumble. Expect Maclin to continue being a big part of the Eagles' offense as their No. 2 receiver.

Maclin was expected to be on the field today, and now he is officially listed as active according to Rotoworld.

Owners that have gone forward with Maclin as a starter throughout the season should continue to do so.

He still made plays last week despite being hampered by injury and we should expect much of the same today.

Jeremy Maclin was on the field last week against the Giants, and was actually one of the more effective players for the Eagles.

This week, as expected, he will play against the 49ers. According to NFL Network's Albert Breer:

For Maclin fantasy owners, playing him again this week looks to be a safe bet.

He's gone for 18 catches and over 200 yards in the last two games and we should expect that to stop against the 49ers.

Teams are so worried about DeSean Jackson getting behind their defense they cannot spare people to worry about Maclin, who might be the better all-around receiver of the two.

The only concern with playing him is Vick's health. The Eagles will run the ball more in effort to protect their quarterback. Unless you have a better option on the bench though, Maclin should still be your man.

Albert Breer reports for the NFL Network, and we tweeted the current status of Maclin.

This is good news for Maclin who was a limited participant at practice on Thursday. Earlier in the week Maclin was doubtful, so it's good to see him making progress.

Depending on which receivers you have, Maclin should be OK to start in your fantasy league. Definitely do so if you're thin at that position, but if you feel you're pretty stacked, then benching him isn't a bad idea. Just make sure to stay tuned to find out if he is truly active for Sunday. A lot can change within a few days.

Plus there is the possibility that Vick gets hurt, which would decrease Maclin's numbers. He's a risk, but there's a lot of risks you take when it comes to fantasy football.

Adam Caplan is reporting that the Eagles listed Maclin as a limited participant at today's practice, but that him being out there is positive.

It would be a bit surprising if Maclin was unable to go at all on Sunday, but he could be limited just a bit so tread lightly for now.

Thursday, Sept. 29 at 1:28 p.m. EDT

Despite previous reports, Tim McManus of Philly Sports Daily is reporting that Maclin is at practice today, and should be good to go for this weekend.

"

"I wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize or hurt the team,” said Maclin. “If it feels good like it does now and I feel like I can go, I can go."

"

This is good news for Maclin owners who were likely worried about the report that he was day-to-day. All indications point towards Maclin being in the lineup on Sunday.

Two new updates on the Maclin front. According to Bob Grotz, Maclin is making good progress and is participating in walkthroughs.

Jeff Warner, an Eagles insider, however notes that Maclin is being held out of practice today. Continue to check back here to see his status and practice appearances throughout the week.

Adam Caplan is reporting that Maclin is still doubtful for the Eagles' game on Sunday against San Francisco

Monday, Sept. 26 at 3:45 p.m. EDT

Rotoworld believes for fantasy football purposes, Maclin owners should grab Steve Smith off waivers if he is available. The injury to Maclin still poses some concern even though the diagnosis is not as serious as we originally believed.

Monday, Sept. 26 at 12:45 p.m. EDT

There is optimistic news from Eagles beat writer Bob Grotz on Maclin’s status for Week 4.

Grotz also tweeted, "Maclin is day to day as opposed to initially which Reid said was more significant. Maclin ham is 'tender.'"
