Thanksgiving Day NFL Predictions: Bet on Eagles, Donovan McNabb

It's been a long standing tradition for the Lions and Cowboys to play on Thanksgiving Day. It's also been a longer standing tradition to eat turkey on Thanksgiving Day.

It's too bad we'll be watching a turkey of a game when the 0-11 Lions take the field before a half-empty stadium against the 10-1 Titans.

If that's not bad enough, stay tuned for America's Team as they take on an injury depleted Seattle Seahawks squad, followed by a semi-exciting esoteric matchup between the Eagles and Cardinals. All a part of your Thanksgiving Day lineup!

Tennessee at Detroit

Line: Titans by 11

The Lions came so close to ending their winless season when they jumped out to a 17-0 lead against the Bucs, only to watch it completely dissolve. It's safe to say that after Turkey day, they'll be 0-12.

The Titans will be playing fired up after dropping a zillion passes and struggling to run the football against the Jets. A motivated Titans team against an 0-11 squad?? That's a scary thought in it of itself.

Titans 38, Lions 10

Seattle at Dallas

Line: Cowboys by 12.5

By this time, we should be at the dinner table with the game serving nothing more than background noise.

What seemed like a good matchup on paper going into the year failed to deliver the goods when Hasselbeck developed chronic back problems, Seattle lost half its receiving core, and their running game never materialized.

Cowboys 35, Seahawks 14

Arizona at Philadelphia

Line: Eagles by 3

It will be tough for Arizona to go out on the East coast four days after an emotionally draining loss to the Giants, especially against a desperate team like the Eagles.

With McNabb and Reid's job security in question, I could see the Eagles rallying around their leaders, especially knowing their job security for next year is not a given.

Eagles 28, Cardinals 24
