Fantasy Football Week 13 Rankings: Wide Receivers

Michael WhooleyNov 26, 2008

With Week 13 being the regular season finale for most fantasy football leagues there couldn't be a better time to check out the Bruno Boys rankings to help you secure a spot in your leagues playoffs. Every competent fantasy owner out there knows to start Terrell Owens, Anquan Boldin, Larry Fitzgerald, etc. but use these rankings to help you determine who you should start as your last wide receiver or at your flex position.

With that being said, it's time to check out the Bruno Boys Week 13 Wide Receiver Rankings to see how your player ranks amongst their competition.

--------------------

1. Terrell Owens (Dallas Cowboys) vs. Seattle

We told you Owens would get healthy in a big way last week, but no one could have predicted him to go for 213 receiving yards and a touchdown. To put it into perspective, las week Owens had 30 percent of his total yards for the season in that game and had more yards than his previous five games combined.

The best thing about it, he takes on the 31st ranked Seahawks pass defense on Thanksgiving day and he should have no problem surpassing 100 yards and finding paydirt.

2. Roddy White (Atlanta Falcons) @ San Diego

For just the second time this year White has gone two games without scoring a touchdown, but that should change in Week 13 as the Falcons take on the leagues worst passing defense in San Diego. White ranks third in the NFL with 973 receiving yards and he should have no problem eclipising the 100 yard mark against a defense that allows 27.5 completion per game to opposing teams.

Point Projection: 17 points

--------------------

3. Anquan Boldin (Arizona Cardinals) @ Philadelphia

Home or Away, Rain or Snow, Good Matchup or Bad Matchup, Anquan Boldin gets the job done. It is expected to be under 30 degrees, but clear, at game-time when the Cardinals travel to Philadelphia but that shouldn't stop Boldin from putting together seventh straight game in which he has scored at least 10 fantasy points.

Point Projection: 17 points

--------------------

4. Larry Fitzgerald (Arizona Cardinals) @ Philadelphia

Despite having 51 fantasy points over the past 5 games, Fitzgerald has just one touchdown reception during the span and has actually turned into more of a possesion receiver in Arizona. He averages 91 yards per game but his fantasy owners would like for him to see more red zone looks. Still, the Cardinals have the best passing attack in football and Fitz catches a break in this game as the Eagles should be without defensive back Asante Samuel.

Point Projection: 16 points

--------------------

5. Lee Evans (Buffalo Bills) vs. San Francisco

Evans finished Week 12 with five receptions for 110 receiving yards and that should be the confidence needed to produce in this game against a soft 49ers pass defense. In fact, San Francisco ranks 29th in the NFL against the pass and they just allowed Terrell Owens to go for over 30 yards per reception. Look for Evans to break at least one big play in this game.

Point Projection: 16 points

--------------------

6. Brandon Marshall (Denver Broncos) @ New York Jets

With the Broncos running game failing to make teams worry, it has actually slowed down the passing game. Quarterback Jay Cutler has passed for just two touchdowns over the past 2 games and because of this Marshall has been restricted to being a yardage play the past two games. However, if Denver is going to keep pace with the Jets they will throw and this should lead to Marshall scoring for the first time since Week 10.

Point Projection: 15 points

--------------------

7. Reggie Wayne (Indianapolis Colts) @ Cleveland

We'd be lying to you if we told you Wayne has been producing as a WR1. In fact, Wayne has scored six or fewer fantasy points in four of his last six games and he has just 39 fantasy points since Week Seven. Usually a matchup this good has him ranked as a top three receiver but let him get back on track before you start relying on 100 yards and a score each week.

Point Projection: 14 points
