Fantasy Football Week 4: 3 Players Owners Would Be Dumb Not to Sit

Mick AkersJun 7, 2018

Some big-name players have not been playing at the level that is expected of them for various reasons, but either way fantasy owners need to beware and sit them before another week goes down the tubes.

Here are three players that owners must sit in Week 4 in order not to feel dumb come Week 5.

Arian Foster

A monster in the fantasy ranks a year ago, Houston Texans running back Arian Foster has been hampered with injuries all season long.

After a brief appearance in Week 2 after missing Week 1, Foster left the game early and missed the Texans' Week 3 loss to the New Orleans Saints.

Even if Foster is cleared to play in Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, he is too much of a question mark to play, and would be better off on your fantasy bench.

Steven Jackson

After starting off with an impressive touchdown run in the St. Louis Rams' first game of the season against the Philadelphia Eagles, running back Steven Jackson missed the rest of that game and the team's Week 2 tilt against the New York Giants.

Jackson made his return to the field today against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3, where he had just four attempts for 23 yards in a 37-7 loss.

Jackson appears to be at least one more week away from being his normal self, and any fantasy owner with Jackson on the roster would be smart to sit him out in Week 4.

Michael Vick

With Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick exiting the Eagles games early two weeks in a row for two different reasons, he will be too big of a question mark to start on your fantasy team.

Knowing Vick he will do everything he can to play, and will convince some owners to start him, which will be a bad deal for the owner.

Let Vick work his kinks out for at least a week or two before starting him again, as he has multiple injuries that need healing.
