Kevin Walter Video: Watch Walter's Wizardry Against the New Orleans Saints
Remember that awesome juggling touchdown catch that New York Giants wide receiver Domenik Hixon made on Monday night against the St. Louis Rams?
The only reason I bring it up is because Hixon's catch looks like child's play compared to the catch Houston Texans wide receiver Kevin Walter made against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
If you happened to miss that catch, feel free to feast your eyes on the above video. In it, you will see what happens when good hands, outstanding concentration and good luck join forces in a single moment.

This moment came in the fourth quarter with the Texans trailing 32-26. Matt Schaub dropped back to pass, surveyed the field, and then threw a pass that appeared to be headed for the ground after it was deflected by not one, but two defenders.
That's when Walter, a journeyman out of Eastern Michigan, intervened. Somehow, he corralled the ball with one hand, gained control of it, and took it into the end zone for what was then the go-ahead score.
Judging from the sound inside the Superdome, nobody in the stands had a clue what had just happened. They just knew that it wasn't cool for the home team.
Lucky for them, the Saints ended up winning the game 40-33 by virtue of Mark Ingram's first NFL touchdown with less than three minutes to play. The win moved them to 2-1, and the Texans' first loss makes them 2-1 as well.
The play of the day, though, belongs to Walter. Moreover, you can probably expect to see his catch again on various "Top Plays of the Year" lists when all is said and done.
