Michael Vick Injury: Eagles' Playoff Dreams Rest on Vince Young's Shoulders
It’s becoming all too clear that Philadelphia Eagles star quarterback Michael Vick may not be able to carry the team to the promised land with all of the hits he is taking.
In the first three weeks of the season, Vick has been hit more times than the Eagles had anticipated, and his ability to withstand all of the hits he is absorbing has been shown to be less than the franchise though he could.
With a broken non-throwing hand suffered in the Eagles Week 3 loss against the New York Giants, there will be serious questions about the status of Philadelphia’s $100 million man.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Eagles need to play it safe, and give all the time they can to Vick so that he is 100 percent healthy for the team’s playoff run. We can’t forget the concussion that Vick sustained last week, and the constant hits he took to his head against the New York Giants.
With youngster Mike Kafka coming up small, the perfect solution for the Eagles’ problems should be healthy enough to start in Week 4.
That’s right, Vince Young is Philadelphia’s savior.
Vince Young was a solid starter in Tennessee with the Titans, and his 30-17 record shows that it was more a product of problems with his coach than poor play that drove Young from stardom and into the lap of the Eagles.
Philadelphia has a bigger, stronger quarterback in Young and his ability to get out of the pocket will mimic what the Eagles do with Michael Vick under center.
With the poor offense line play, defense will have a harder time taking down Young in the pocket than Vick yet Young offers the same weapon running that defense have to respect.
The kind of weapons the Eagles boast will be much more than Young ever had in Tennessee, and there is nothing to show that he can’t share the same success Vick has had.
While it is still very clear that Michael Vick is the best option for the Philadelphia Eagles to win any game, the step down to Vince Young isn’t as steep as many people have thought.
