NFL Haltime Report: 5 Observations from Week 3 Games so Far
Here are some observations that I made watching the first half of several different games:
1. I think the New York Giants might have the least talented pass catchers in the NFL. When you look at the receivers and tight ends, minus the guys that are injured, they have ZERO playmakers. If the Giants can get healthy on D, and they will commit to pounding people with the run, they might still be a dangerous team. Because if they throw it less, then that means less chances for Eli to throw it to the other team.
2. I think Tom Brady is pretty good. I've had created QB's in Madden that didn't put up numbers like Brady has so far this season.

3. I think LeSean McCoy is playing like he is the best running back in the NFL right now. Tony Saragossa said the same thing while giving his sideline report on FOX today. I don't think McCoy is the most talented back in the league—that award goes to Adrian Peterson—but when you factor in all the talent around him, especially Vick and his scrambling ability, I think McCoy is the best. When I watch him play, it seems like he makes a couple guys miss on every play.
4. I think the 49'ers will have Colin Kaepernick starting at QB before Week 6. They have such a talented team, but the QB position has been a big problem for them since the days of the great Jeff Garcia.
5. I think I called it, "Cam Newton will come back down to Earth this week." Granted, he is playing in a monsoon, but I just thought he would struggle this week. So far today, he is having a hard time.
