Dexter McCluster Fantasy Football: Chiefs' RB Will Disappoint vs. Chargers
Dexter McCluster is one of the most versatile fantasy options in the NFL.
Some leagues list his as a WR, some list him as a RB and some even list him as both.
Today he'll get the chance to shine as one of the running backs trying to help replace Jamaal Charles.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He's become a very popular pick in fantasy with the league-wide injury epidemic at wide receiver. Throw in the fact that Kansas City is playing terrible right now, and McCluster expects to become a feature part of their offense as they look to shake things up.
While a number of people are considering for a starting roster spot this week, you have to tread carefully with him.
The Chiefs are traveling to San Diego to take on their divisional rivals this week. The Chargers, returning home after a beating from the New England Patriots, are not about to let Kansas City walk in and steal a game.
Even with the increased role, McCluster won't be given 15-20 touches. His body cannot handle that beating and with Charles out for the year, the Chiefs have to think long term with their roster.
McCluster has 21 total touches so far this season and has yet to find the end zone.
In fact, the Chiefs offense as a whole has only found the end zone once this season.
San Diego is no defensive slouch. This team still has a number of talented players, and we know that they are notoriously slow starters.
The loss to New England will have that team awake and they know they cannot afford to lose a division game at home.
If there is no other option but McCluster then you have to do what you have to do.
If you're debating on whether to start him over someone more proven then you need to rethink your strategy.
