VIDEO: Best TD Return of the Day, Alabama or LSU, You Decide

We won't get the chance to see Alabama and LSU on the same field until November 5, but the battle between the two SEC powerhouses has already begun.

While Oklahoma holds the No. 1 spot in the land (not for much longer though) the Tide and Tigers have been in a heated battle for No. 2.

The Tide opened the season as the second ranked team in the land, but LSU's victory over Oregon opening week catapulted them ahead of their conference rivals. Alabama then traveled to Happy Valley to take on the Nittany Lions and in victory reclaimed No. 2 spot after Week 2.

Then LSU went back on the road, beat Mississippi State in Starkville and jumped the Tide for No. 2 once again.

This week they both played ranked opponents—Alabama trounced Arkansas and LSU beat up West Virginia - and the race for No. 2, possibly even No. 1, will heat up even more.

But that isn't the only thing these two are competing over either. Saturday's wins featured two must-see kick return touchdowns by the Tide and Tigers alike.

Alabama receiver Marquis Maze took a punt 83 yards to pay dirt:

And LSU defensive back Morris Claiborne returned a kickoff 99 yards for a score as well:

Like everything between the Tide and Tigers, there is no clear-cut winner for return of the day.

Maze's score was ridiculous to watch. The senior from Birmingham, Alabama decided to do his best video game impression and basically made every player on the LSU coverage team miss at some point during the play.

Claiborne's return was equally impressive. The defensive back made West Virginia freshman Avery Williams wish he was never on kickoff coverage in the first place and then proceeded to allude the rest of the Mountaineers on his way to the end zone.

We have to wait and see which team gets the No. 2 (or No. 1) spot this week in the rankings, and we have to wait even longer to see these two teams play one another, but we do have the opportunity to pick a winner for the best return of the day right now.
