Week 3 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Sleepers at Every Offensive Position

Michael MillJun 1, 2018

One of the big keys to winning fantasy football isn't having the best players in the league, it's knowing who to start each week.

The person who can find the key sleepers every week has the best chance at pulling out victories that nobody saw coming.

Here are some great sleeper choices at every offensive position in Week 3.

QB Matt Hasselbeck (Tennessee Titans)

Last week, the Tennessee Titans pulled off an astonishing victory against the Baltimore Ravens.

Much of the credit went to the defense, which handled the Ravens offense with ease. Much credit is deserved.

Somebody who didn't get nearly enough credit was quarterback Matt Hasselbeck. He may be past his prime, but he has looked great this year.

Hasselbeck completed 30 of his 42 passes for 358 yards last week. This came against the same team that stomped the Steelers a week earlier.

At 621 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions, Hasselbeck is quietly having a productive year.

Week 3 against the Denver Broncos should be a continuation of that success.

HB Daniel Thomas (Miami Dolphins)

Daniel Thomas got his first start last week after being injured for the season opener against the Patriots.

Last week, the Dolphins may have found their starting running back for years to come.

Thomas finished the game with 18 carries for 107 yards against the Houston Texans.

This week the Dolphins take on the Cleveland Browns, who haven't been particularly great against the run.

WR David Nelson (Buffalo Bills)

Steve Johnson may have been getting all the attention at wide receiver after the Bills 2-0 start, but statistically David Nelson is right there with him.

Nelson has 14 catches for 142 yards and a touchdown after two weeks of football.

This week the Bills will face the Patriots in a division showdown.

The Patriots are going to put up points and have struggled stopping the pass. They are currently ranked 31st in the league in pass defense.

The Bills will be throwing often and many may be shocked to see them have a big game.

TE Fred Davis (Washington Redskins)

Mike Shanahan took a page out of Bill Belichick's playbook.

The Washington Redskins have finally found some success on offense, and they have done it in two tight end sets similar to what you see in New England.

The two tight ends for the Redskins are Chris Cooley and Fred Davis.

Davis is the better receiver of the two and it shows in the stats. He is currently tied for the team lead in receptions at 12. He leads the team in receiving yards at 191.

For some reason he still isn't on most fantasy teams. Better pick him up fast.
