Torrey Smith: Will Ravens Rookie Have an Encore Performance in Week 4?
Torrey Smith was the difference maker in the Baltimore Ravens' Week 3 win over the St. Louis Rams, but don't expect to see another game like that again from the rookie wide receiver.
Drafted in the second round out of Maryland, Smith did not have a single catch for the Ravens in the first two weeks of the season, but he exploded this past Sunday with five catches for 152 yards and three touchdowns.
He scored the first three touchdowns of the game for the Ravens, and all of them were in the first quarter.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
After the game, Smith told reporters that having big games is nothing new for him. Per ESPN:
"'I've been playing football forever and I've been making plays forever,' Smith said. 'Having a game like this, it proves to other people that haven't seen me play, it lets them know I can play.'
"
Smith had 133 yards on his first three receptions, and the game was put away after the first quarter thanks to his breakaway speed.
He took advantage of veteran Lee Evans being out, and in the process he may have solidified himself as Joe Flacco's No. 2 target behind Anquan Boldin.
However, don't expect the rookie to have an encore performance in Week 4.
One reason Smith won't shine big on Sunday is because the Ravens will host the New York Jets.
Joe Flacco won't be torching up a defense that is very hungry to rebound after a rough Week 3 loss to the Oakland Raiders.
The Ravens will focus more on the ground game because that's how the Raiders beat the Jets, but New York will be ready for whatever Baltimore throws their way.
Rex Ryan and the Jets will play angry in Week 4, and the Ravens will fall victim because of it. Expect a low-scoring game on Sunday, which is why you won't hear much from Smith.
I do think Smith is the real deal, and it would be wise to pick him up on your fantasy team for extra depth, but he isn't a good play for Week 4.
The rookie had a fantastic game against the Rams, but he'll come back to reality in Week 4 against the Jets.
